FOLLOWING JESUS TOGETHER.

Being a Christian doesn’t happen on accident.

We have to be actively engaged in a life of discipleship.

DISCIPLESHIP IS WHAT WE CALL THE PROCESS OF BECOMING more, and more like Jesus.

We can only accomplish that goal in community.

We invite you to come, and follow Jesus with us.

WE TRY TO KEEP OUR APPROACH TO CHURCH SIMPLE. Our path informs the way that our church is structured, allowing us to focus on our mission of following jesus together.

Withness

It is essential to learn how to live WITH Jesus, recognizing His presence in our day to day lives. We gather to worship together on Sundays so that we can be reminded of, and become more anchored to His presence in our lives.

Likeness

Christians should live lives that look LIKE Jesus. We look to His life as a template, and bring our lives in alignment to Him. Never the other way around. In order to grow in Likeness, we gather in smaller groups throughout the year. These smaller groups create a relational environment that helps us to see how we can become more like Jesus.

Practice

If we are becoming more like Jesus, then we should begin to DO what Jesus did. By serving others, we begin to learn to give our lives away, like Jesus did. We desire to be generous with our time, talent, and treasure.

Our sunday liturgy (how we have organized our worship services) typically looks something like this:

Pre-Service: Free Coffee & Pastries in the Fellowship Hall

Call to Worship: We shift our focus from self, to God.

Singing of Praise & Worship: We sing together as an act of unified worship.

Prayer: We conclude our singing with a time of prayer, led by one of our church leaders.

Family Time*: A time of community & for parents/guardians to check children in for Spring Kids.

Spring Kids*: Our children gather for a time of ministry designed specifically for them (for ages 5 through fifth grade).

Giving of Tithes & Offerings: We give as an act of worship.

Teaching of Scripture: We allow the teaching of the Bible to orient our lives to truth.

Communion: We receive Communion every Sunday as our highest act of worship.

Prayer for Individuals: Our prayer team is available to pray for anyone that desires prayer.

Benediction: A closing blessing that shifts our attention from hearing the Bible taught, to living it throughout the week.

*Family Time & Spring Kids are a part of our 11:00 service; our 9:30 service does not include a separate time of children’s ministry.

OUR PATH:

 FAQs

  • There is a parking lot on the East side of the church, accessed from Eighth street. From the Eighth street entrance, you can park in the lot at the rear of the church, the shared parking lot between the church and the hotel, or in the dirt lot behind the church. There is also ample street parking on both sides of Eighth street. The main entrance of the church is found on the North side of the building, facing Eighth street.

  • The Spring is a church for the entire family. We offer Spring Kids (for ages 5 through 5th grade) during our 11am service on Sundays. We keep families together during the singing of praise and worship, because we believe worship should be a family experience. There is a Family Room available where parents can be with their younger children during the service, should the need arise. We don’t mind babies being a bit fussy in church! We celebrate that they are a part of our church family!

  • Spring Youth (for 6th-12th grade students) meets every Sunday evening from 7:00-8:15.

  • The Spring is a part of the Assemblies of God, the largest Pentecostal denomination in the world. For more on the Assemblies of God, visit www.ag.org.

  • As a member of the Assemblies of God, we align with the Assemblies of God Statement of Fundamental Truths, which you can find HERE.
